Iridium Certus™ 9810 – a high-performance broadband module offering multiple high-quality voice lines, upload speeds of up to 352 Kbps and download speeds of up to 704 Kbps. The Iridium PNT service provides secure and dependable positioning, navigation and timing data through a global LEO satellite constellation. Available indoors, at sea and in the air, it can serve as a primary or backup source when GPS or other GNSS signals are unavailable.
The service can be tailored to the demanding requirements of defense forces and government agencies, utilizing state-of-the-art signal authentication and complex beam patterns to protect critical systems and maintain mission continuity even in the face of jamming and spoofing attacks.
The Iridium PNT ASIC is a miniature chip-level solution that simplifies the integration of these capabilities, supporting standalone Iridium PNT receivers or hybrid Iridium + GNSS solutions. With an 8 x 8 mm footprint, it can be easily installed into virtually any host design, and features standard interfaces that resemble typical GPS/GNSS receivers.
The ASIC also incorporates built-in RF circuitry, power regulation and secure firmware storage, and outputs messages in a standard NMEA 0183 format.
