Iridium Certus® provides ultra-reliable and resilient global L-band voice and data connectivity for mobile, fixed and portable systems. The service is available in a range of speed classes, allowing terminals to be selected according to the data rate, voice capacity or SWaP requirements of the application.
Certus 100 - IP data speeds of up to 88 Kbps and two voice lines
Certus 200 - IP data speeds of up to 176 Kbps and three voice lines
Certus 700 - IP data speeds of up to 704 Kbps and three voice lines
The service operates across Iridium’s crosslinked low-Earth orbit satellite network, providing pole-to-pole coverage without reliance on local cellular or terrestrial infrastructure. It can support primary or backup communications for deployed personnel, command posts, vehicles, vessels, aircraft and remote equipment, with capabilities including voice calling, messaging, email, file transfer, web access and live data exchange.
