Iridium Extreme® is a rugged satellite phone that provides global voice, Short Burst Data, SMS and email services for personnel operating beyond terrestrial networks. The 247 g handset is rated to IP65 and MIL-STD-810F for resistance to dust, shock and water jets, and a four-hour talk time makes it ideal for dismounted operations in demanding environments.
Integrated GPS enables location-based services, tracking and map display through compatible applications. A programmable SOS button can connect the user with a designated contact or a 24-hour emergency response service, combining communications and emergency support in one handheld device. The handset operates through Iridium’s pole-to-pole satellite network for use across land, sea and air.
