Iridium GO!® creates a portable satellite connection for compatible smartphones and tablets. Up to five devices can connect over Wi-Fi, allowing personnel to make voice calls, exchange SMS messages, send email and access selected data services through the Iridium GO! application. The 305 g unit can establish a small communications hub wherever there is a clear view of the sky.
A lay-flat antenna protects the device during transport and flips up for operation. The IP65- and MIL-STD-810F-rated enclosure is designed for demanding field environments, and integrated GPS supports location reporting and mapping. A programmable SOS function can send location information and connect the user with a designated emergency contact or 24-hour response service.
