Iridium PNT ASIC
The Iridium PNT ASIC is a miniature receiver device for integrating Iridium’s secure positioning, navigation and timing service into mission equipment. The 8 x 8 mm chip can be used in a standalone Iridium PNT receiver or combined with GNSS to provide an independent, authenticated source of time and position. This supports systems that must continue operating when conventional satellite navigation is jammed, spoofed or unavailable.
RF circuitry, power regulation and secure firmware storage are incorporated into the package to reduce the external component count. The device supports static and dynamic positioning, outputs standard NMEA 0183 messages and can connect to a UART-based GNSS receiver for hybrid operation.
