Platforms

The Vedette - Fixed-Wing UAS

The Vedette (fixed-wing UAS) has been developed in partnership with the Canadian Defense Department, the National Research Centre (NRC), and Canadian Universities. The advanced airframe has undertaken ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance) and coastal security missions in the Artic, supported anti-submarine warfare and site remediation (including removal of unexploded ordinance, mines, etc) operations for defense and government.

The Avidrone - Tandem Rotor Drone

The Avidrone fleet is designed and manufactured in Canada and offers an all-new approach to fully autonomous long-range and heavy lift flight for government and defense. The ultimate in aerial robotics, the Avidrone tandem rotor UAS (unmanned aerial system) enables new ways to undertake vital airborne tasks such as delivering critical supplies and accessing remote and harsh environments with medicine, tools, and parts. True Beyond-Visual-Line-Of-Sight (BVLOS) operations make the Avidrone fleet effective for high-value and time-sensitive missions.

Training

BVLOS Training

A leading player in BVLOS flight training, Volutas provides enhanced training that includes BVLOS regulations, detection and tracking methods, sensors, communication as well as geographical and topographical impacts to mission.

Task Force Drone

Task Force Drone provides veterans with employment opportunities that utilize their military skills and expertise. Envisioned by Retired Major General Hines and military spouse, Kate McKenna, working alongside Volatus Aerospace, North American-wide businesses and broad RPAS integrated competencies, Task Force Drone offers veterans a training platform and on-the-job training critical to a career in the RPAS service industry.
