Volatus Aerospace has secured a multi-year contract to provide specialist training for a NATO-allied government ministry.
The agreement carries an initial two-year term with renewal options that bring the potential aggregate value of the contract to approximately CAD $2.1 million. Secured through a competitive procurement process under an established government framework, the project focuses on the design, development, and delivery of training programs specifically tailored for security and law enforcement personnel.
The scope of work includes full curriculum development, instruction, and capability transfer. These programs are designed to align with strict operational requirements in mission-critical and regulated environments. By leveraging an integrated model that combines training, operations, and technology development, Volatus aims to provide scalable, repeatable training solutions for the deployment of uncrewed and autonomous systems.
This contract supports the export of Canadian aerospace and defense capabilities and aligns with the principles of Canada’s evolving Defence Industrial Strategy, which emphasizes strengthening domestic capability while fostering interoperability among allied nations.
Glen Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of Volatus Aerospace, commented, “This award reflects the continued evolution of Volatus Aerospace as a trusted partner to government and defence stakeholders. Our ability to deliver integrated training programs, supported by operational experience and technology development, positions us to support long-term capability building for our partners. The multi-year structure of this agreement provides visibility while reinforcing the role of training as a foundational element in the adoption of advanced aerial systems.”
As a Canadian-controlled global aerospace and defense company, Volatus provides integrated uncrewed systems, aerial intelligence, and mission-critical operational services. This latest engagement reinforces the company’s role in supporting allied governments in the development of sovereign operational capabilities through structured knowledge transfer.
