Intelligent Military MANET Solutions

DTC’s MeshUltra waveform technology enables next-generation intelligent military MANET (mobile ad-hoc networking), delivering greater range, higher throughput, and data rates of up to 87Mbps. Designed from the ground up to ensure superior performance even under the most challenging conditions, MeshUltra utilises advanced COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation for enhanced robustness and increased resilience against multipath interference.

MeshUltra also leverages Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology to provide increased spectral efficiency and link robustness, transmitting data in both horizontal and vertical polarisations and fitting twice as much data into a channel as a conventional Single Input Multiple Output (SIMO) mesh. MeshUltra can also automatically and seamlessly transition between MIMO and SIMO operation as required, ensuring the most robust data link possible under any conditions.

DTC has also developed MeshUltra-X, a specialized waveform designed to support large mesh networking applications such as dismounted soldier communications and sensor networks. MeshUltra-X supports up to 144 nodes, with channel bandwidths as narrow as 1.25MHz and as wide as 10MHz.

Lightweight and rugged personal radio with MANET capabilities

The Sentry Mesh 6161 is a compact, lightweight and ergonomic personal radio that integrates easily with soldier systems and hosts our proven and ultra-robust MANET waveforms. Offering simplex and full duplex digital voice as well as high-speed IP data capabilities, it can achieve data rates of up to 87 Mbps and can be equipped with AES-256 or DES-56 encryption.

Sentry-H 6120-BM

Multi-role manpack radio with 150W power output

The Sentry-H 6120-BM is a versatile manpack radio that delivers output power of up to 150W without the need for an external power amplifier, keeping cost, weight and complexity low. Ideal for fixed-site and mobile applications, the IP-based radio ensures secure high-quality voice and data even under the most challenging of conditions.

The radio offers a wide array of powerful capabilities including frequency hopping, 3G ALE, and data application suites such as Codan SprintChat and SprintNet.

The powerful SprintNet software utilizes the 3G ALE waveform to provide fast and secure email, messaging and file transfer over HF radio networks. With a simple and intuitive GUI that reduces cognitive burden on the operator, it provides peer-to-peer or broadcast capabilities as well as AES-256 encryption and anti-spoofing technology.
