Trillium Engineering is supporting AeroVironment (AV) and its subsidiary, Arcturus UAV, in delivering the HD80-MVS-LD gimbal for the JUMPĀ® 20 unmanned aerial system (UAS) to the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO).
AeroVironmentās JUMP 20 is a Group 3, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAS designed for long-endurance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Trilliumās integration into JUMP 20 enhances ISR operations, ensuring superior situational awareness in complex environments.
Equipped with Trilliumās HD80-MVS-LD, the system benefits from high-definition electro-optical (EO) and infrared (IR) sensors, laser designation, and precision geolocation, delivering advanced target detection and tracking capabilities.
By integrating high-performance EO/IR payloads, Trillium enhances the JUMP 20ās ability to detect, track, and identify targets with precision, strengthening the Danish Armed Forces’ ISR capabilities. Trillium is supporting AeroVironment and its users with innovative, mission-proven imaging solutions that evolve to meet future operational demands.
Shane Hastings, AeroVironmentās Vice President and General Manager for Medium UAS, commented, āAeroVironment continues to set the standard for reliable, mission-ready UAS, and we are honored to support their efforts in delivering advanced situational awareness to the Danish military. Our collaboration ensures that JUMP 20 operators have the imaging technology needed to execute critical ISR missions with confidence and accuracy.ā
