Halmstad-based company AB Micropol Fiberoptic is set to provide its field tactical fiber optic communication systems for BAE Systems Hägglunds’ combat vehicle, the CV90.
The new agreement covers deliveries for both new and upgraded CV90 vehicles for Sweden and four other European customers, with significant order value extending through 2032.
Production for the order will take place at Micropol Fiberoptic’s facility in Åled, outside Halmstad, adding substantial volume to the company’s existing contracts with BAE Systems Hägglunds.
Micropol’s CEO, Peter Ljungkvist, commented, “The new order is an important recognition of our excellent cooperation with BAE Systems Hägglunds.
