FALCON Fiber Optic Connectors
Micropol’s FALCON range of expanded beam fiber optic connectors provides the best optical performance on the market, developed in collaboration with the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) and offering options in mini, junior and senior sizes for 1 to 16 fibers.
FALCON is the only expanded beam connector in the world that has been approved for 40GB data transmission, and the range includes the only 12-channel junior connector that provides a collimated light beam according to MIL-DTL-83526 standards.
- Operating temperature range from -57 to +85oC (+100oC optional)
- Insertion loss of <1.2 dB (NATO standard is 2.5 dB)
