Volz Servos GmbH has officially become a full member of the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) to deepen its integration within the German aerospace community and foster collaboration across industry, politics, and research sectors.

The transition to full membership follows the company’s previous participation alongside the BDLI joint booth at several international trade fairs, representing a logical progression in deepening its involvement within the aerospace network. As a specialist manufacturer of safety-critical electromechanical actuators, the company aims to actively participate in professional exchanges regarding emerging technologies, industrial developments, and future aviation frameworks.
The shifting market landscape, particularly within the rapidly evolving sectors of unmanned and autonomous aviation systems, underscores the strategic timing of this alignment. In addition to contributing to various expert committees, the company intends to leverage the association’s international presence to expand its global reach.
“For us, membership in the BDLI is an important step toward bringing our experience in the development of safety-critical actuators more strongly into the industry,” says CEO Phillipp Volz. “The market is currently developing very dynamically, particularly in the area of unmanned and autonomous aviation systems. Direct exchange with industry, politics, and research is becoming increasingly important for us in this context. The BDLI offers the right platform for this.”
The partnership will see immediate representation at upcoming global aerospace events, with joint trade fair appearances already scheduled for ILA Berlin in June 2026 and Airshow China in November 2026.
