Trillium has released version 24.2 of its software, focused on key bug fixes and stability improvements across both the gimbal firmware and SkyLink software.
While the update introduces a few new features, its primary objective is to resolve existing issues, enhance reliability, and optimize performance in the field.
The update includes several key improvements, such as enhanced heading alignment under dynamic conditions, improved gyro bias estimation, and expanded support for lenses and sensors. Notably, HD45-LV-R users will now benefit from new lens integration, while SkyLink operators will experience enhanced in-flight stabilization tools and improved logging.
Key highlights include:
- Support for external heading updates with reduced noise
- New nulling mode and OrionSDK support for improved stabilization
- Expanded client connections (up to 16)
- Added support for the PNI Headway sensor
- Several fixes to improve reliability during retract, calibration, and command processing
- SkyLink: new interface features, better KLV data handling, and crash fixes
