By bringing these three organizations together within the same group, the new entity gains the scale necessary to address modern underwater threats and the increasing industry reliance on autonomous platforms. While the merger centralizes operations under the Forcys name, Chelsea Technologies will be retained as a product brand, continuing its specialized work in water quality monitoring and sensing for the blue technology market.
The unified organization is designed to facilitate the transition from traditional systems to an autonomous future, specifically focusing on delivering integrated underwater payloads. These technologies support a diverse range of missions, including Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), as well as underwater intruder detection and deterrence. The move is intended to amplify market impact and improve operational efficiencies rather than acting as a standard acquisition.
