AMI’s designs reflect more than three decades of accumulated field and user feedback, including battlefield experience. Product development reflects real operating conditions such as mist, smoke, rain, ambient sunlight, and laser countermeasures, as well as environmental stresses including temperature extremes, shock, and vibration, with refinement informed by operational use rather than laboratory-only evaluation.
As an independent manufacturer, AMI is not limited to in-house components. Engineers select parts based on technical suitability and reliability, while maintaining multiple qualified sources to reduce supply and delivery risk.
