Imaging Sonars
Featuring the world’s most compact imaging sonar, the ISS360 range provides ROVs, AUVs and other subsea naval vehicles with real-time 360° high-resolution acoustic imaging capabilities. Utilizing a mechanically-scanned broadband composite transducer and advanced CHIRP acoustics (Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse), the sonars are ideal for precision navigation, obstacle avoidance, and target identification for applications such as ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) or MCM (mine countermeasures).
Profiling Sonar
The high-performance mechanically-scanned ISP360 profiling sonar offers cutting-edge subsea measurement capabilities, delivering unparalleled accuracy for applications such as 3D seabed and terrain mapping, structural profiling, and UXO and target scanning.
Housed in a rugged titanium enclosure and depth rated to 4000 meters, the versatile ISP360 offers a frequency range of 650kHz to 1.25MHz, and supports Continuous Wave (CW), Compressed High-Intensity Radar Pulse (CHIRP), and the proprietary Impact Subsea Signalling Scheme (IS3) for superior signal clarity and reliability.
Altimeters
Impact Subsea altimeters provide millimeter-accurate underwater distance measurements in a compact, durable form. Designed for seamless integration, they are available in housings rated to 11,000 meters and support forward-looking or right-angled configurations, with digital and analog interfaces suited to a wide range of subsea defense applications.
Depth Sensors
The ISD4000 is a survey-grade depth and temperature sensor that provides high-accuracy data for submarines and underwater vehicles, naval sensors and equipment, and tactical environmental intelligence applications. Depth data can be provided to ±0.01% or 0.005% full scale accuracy, with multiple options available for range. Temperature data can be provided to 0.1 or 0.05 degrees C accuracy.
Attitude & Heading Reference System
The ISM3D is an advanced AHRS that provides high-accuracy real-time orientation and heading information for stabilization and control of naval equipment and manned/unmanned underwater vehicles, as well as for navigation aiding in underwater GNSS-denied environments. It delivers heading data with accuracy to ±1° of local magnetic north, and pitch and roll data to ±0.07° accuracy. In environments with large amounts of ferrous metals or other magnetic disturbances, the magnetometers can be deactivated, and heading accuracy can be boosted thanks to a built-in soft and hard iron calibration feature.
Flooded Member Detection System
The ISFMD flooded member detection system is a diver- or ROV-deployed solution based entirely on high-accuracy ultrasonic technology, doing away with the logistical and safety issues posed by radiation-based systems. The system is ideal for rapid integrity assessment, inspection and maintenance, and damage investigation of subsea structures, and automatically adjusts acoustic settings to ensure that both small and large members can be tested accurately and repeatedly. An optional depth sensor can be integrated to automatically record the depth of each check point.
seaView Software
The powerful and versatile seaView software package provides a convenient centralized facility for data viewing, logging, calibration and configuration of all Impact Subsea sensors. It allows data from multiple sensors to be displayed on screen in real-time, making it ideal for co-ordinating complex multi-instrument operations such as ROV reconnaissance or search missions.
