Impact Subsea, a UK-based developer of advanced subsea sensing solutions, has received the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade.
The King’s Award, one of the UK’s highest accolades for business success, recognises Impact Subsea’s outstanding growth in international markets and its contribution to strengthening the UK’s global trade presence.

Previously honoured with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2021, this latest achievement highlights the company’s sustained excellence and strategic focus on international expansion.
Awarded annually by His Majesty The King, the King’s Awards for Enterprise celebrate UK-based businesses demonstrating exceptional performance across four categories: Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development, and Promoting Opportunity through social mobility. In 2025, just 197 organisations received the award, with 116 recognised for excellence in International Trade.
Impact Subsea stands out for its portfolio of cutting-edge subsea technologies, including sonar systems, altimeters, depth and temperature sensors, AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference Systems), and a leading-edge Flooded Member Detection System.
Commenting on the award, Impact Subsea Managing Director Ben Grant said, “Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade is an incredible honour and a testament to the hard work, dedication and innovation of the entire Impact Subsea team.
It’s a proud moment for us, recognising our commitment to excellence and our success in expanding our reach in the global, subsea technology sector. This award inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the world stage.”
This recognition further reinforces Impact Subsea’s position as a trusted technology partner in international markets and reflects the company’s long-term commitment to developing high-performance subsea systems that support mission-critical operations worldwide.
