The ISA500 range of advanced altimeters for AUVs and ROVs utilizes cutting-edge acoustics to provide exceptionally long-range measurement at distances of over 120 meters, with an accuracy of 1 mm. They are ideal for precision terrain-following and station-keeping, and can also be optionally upgraded with Impact Subsea’s Echogram technology, adding full backscatter visualization for single-beam echosounder capabilities with up to 2000 samples per ping.
A MEMS-based AHRS can also be added for highly stable heading, pitch and roll measurements.
The ISA500 is available in either forward-looking or right-angled configurations, ensuring easy integration into a wide variety of naval vehicle platforms. It can be provided with acetal or rugged titanium housings, with depth options of 1000, 6000 and 11,000 meters.
