Impact Subsea has been formally presented with the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, recognized as one of the highest accolades available to UK businesses.
The Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeen, Dr David Cameron, visited the company to present the award. Formerly known as the Queen’s Award, this prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding achievement across several categories, including innovation, international trade, sustainable development, and social mobility.

Impact Subsea was informed earlier this year that it was among 116 organizations acknowledged for contributions to International Trade, out of a total of 197 organizations recognized with a King’s Award.
This milestone follows the company’s receipt of the Queen’s Award for Innovation in 2021. It highlights the organization’s continued commitment to excellence and global growth while supporting the UK subsea industry.
The presentation coincides with a significant period for the business, following a decade of rapid expansion marked by its recent 10-Year Anniversary Celebration. During this time, the company has evolved from a small Scottish start-up into a global subsea technology provider.
