Vision2 is the U.S. Government’s validated universal Ground Control Station for multi-platform uncrewed systems (UxS) operations. Awarded under a $4.2M DIU Soldier Robotic Controller (SRoC) contract, Vision2 was the only product to meet all DoD specifications for a universal robotics controller; a record validated across multiple government program offices and all four branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Built on the Qualcomm QCS8250 octa-core system-on-module with 15 TOPS of integrated AI acceleration, Vision2 delivers real-time, on-device edge inference, enabling YOLO-based object detection and tracking, target cueing, and AI-assisted mission workflows without cloud connectivity.
Full TAK ecosystem participant
Vision2 does not simply display ATAK data, it participates directly on TAK Server as a network node, publishing CoT series messages, broadcasting PPLI, and streaming live EO/IR video via GVStreamer VMS. It integrates natively with WinTAK, iTAK, and ATAK UAS Tool at Level 5 drone command and control, and connects to MANET mesh networks including Silvus StreamCaster, Persistent Systems MPU-5, and Trellisware TSM-X via Network Monitor and Radio Control ATAK plugins.
DoD-standard modular radio architecture
The DoD-standard Swappable Radio Module (SRM) enables field-swappable radio configurations without OEM support. The modular radio bay currently supports Microhard, Doodle Labs, Persistent Systems, Domo Tactical, and Silvus radios, covering 1.6–5 GHz with automatic frequency hopping (<100 ms band switching), anti-jam capability, and self-healing MANET mesh paths. Optional LTE modem connectivity is hardware-ready.
Uncompromising security
Vision2 is Blue UAS cleared, ATO’d through DIU, and FIPS 140-3 compliant. All communications and data storage are AES-256 encrypted at rest and in transit. The system features secure user authentication, automatic system wipe after failed logins, and a DoD security-scan ready OS. Compliant with FY20 NDAA Sec. 848, FY23 NDAA Sec. 817, the American Security Drone Act of 2023 (FY24 NDAA, Sec. 1821), and TAA.
At 625 g / 1.4 lbs with a 7″ 1080p 2500 NIT sunlight-readable display, 4-hour battery runtime, and IP55 ruggedization (MIL-STD-810H drop tested at 5 ft), Vision2 is designed for the dismounted operator.
Vision2 is designed for two-handed use and supports:
- Chest MOLLE integration: MOLLE-compatible load-bearing equipment attachment and dual lanyard anchor points for hands-free carry and rapid access
- Cargo pocket storage
The system is optimized for tactical edge operations, balancing endurance, rapid recharge, and field sustainment without requiring specialized OEM support.
