Mission-Ready, Blue UAS-Cleared & NDAA-Compliant Platforms for Defense, Government, and Security Operations
Vesper Rugged & portable multirotor UAS for trusted & secure ISR
Vesper

Vantage Robotics’ Vesper is a military-grade micro UAS engineered for persistent ISR, close-area surveillance, and multi-domain reconnaissance in the most austere defense environments. Proven through thousands of operational flight hours across all four branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, allied partners, and federal agencies, Vesper delivers exceptional sensor performance, mission-configurable modularity, and uncompromising security in a backpackable 1 kg system.

Persistent endurance for sustained operations. With up to 55 minutes of continuous flight time and a maximum flight range of 40 km, Vesper enables sustained surveillance of fixed and moving objectives across engagement areas that sub-30-minute platforms cannot cover. Operators can maintain persistent overwatch of a target area through multiple sortie cycles on a single battery charge.

Exceptional low-light and night ISR. Vesper’s tri-sensor gimbal combines dual 4K EO cameras with a low-light sensitivity threshold of <0.01 lux, enabling full ISR capability in near-total darkness without external illumination. Combined with 48× optical and digital zoom (3.5°–63° HFOV) and a 320×240 or 640×480 thermal imager, operators can detect, identify, and track targets at operationally relevant ranges in all lighting conditions.

Mission-configurable modularity. Vesper’s dual rotor architecture (RRA & SRA) adapts to two distinct mission environments without requiring return to base. The shrouded rotor set (SRA) enables safe indoor flight and operations near personnel in confined urban and subterranean spaces. The reconnaissance rotor set (RRA) delivers a 35 kt top speed, 35 kt wind tolerance, acoustic stealth below 37 dBA at 25 m, and visual invisibility against terrain at 50 m. The gimbal is field-replaceable in less than 30 seconds, and the magnetic quick-swap battery extends mission endurance across continuous sortie cycles.

GPS-denied and contested environment capability. Vesper employs a four-layer redundant positioning system; multi-constellation GNSS, Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO), optical flow, and a downward-facing laser altimeter, providing autonomous & stabilized flight in environments where adversaries deploy GPS jamming, spoofing, or denial systems.

TAK ecosystem and software compatibility. Vesper is fully compatible with ATAK, UAS Tool, QGroundControl, DroneSense, and Motorola Solutions CAPE, enabling seamless integration into existing tactical networks and mission command architectures. It supports MAVLink and RAS-A protocols and is compatible with the Vantage Vision2 GCS and other RAS-A compliant controllers.

Uncompromising security. All communications and data storage are AES-256 encrypted. Vesper’s bonded construction prevents physical tampering with mission-sensitive hardware. Remote ID is optionally available. The system is Blue UAS cleared, NDAA compliant, ATO’d through DIU, designed, sourced, and manufactured entirely in the United States.
