LWIR Infrared Camera Cores

LWIR Infrared Camera Cores Kuantek’s long-wave infrared (LWIR) camera cores for 640×512 and 1280×1024 cameras provide low-SWaP thermal imaging and processing capabilities in a 44x44x46 mm form factor with a maximum power consumption of less than 4W. The cores offer a range of different interface options, including Ethernet, MIPI, USB 3.0, HDMI, SDI and analog video.

Nyks+ FPGA SoM Family

Based on Efinix FPGAs, Kuantek’s Nyks+ system-on-module family provides a wide range of options for FPGA development, with generous amounts of configurable I/O and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +100oC. Interfaces include JTAG, CAN, UART, USB OTG, HDMI, MIPI and more.

Designed to support Kuantek’s Nyks+ FPGA modules, these carrier boards provide a range of convenient interfaces, including GPIO (PMOD, CAN, JTAG, UART), Gigabit Ethernet, USB OTG, HDMI, MIPI, and SDI.

TriPi FPGA Development Boards

Kuantek’s low-cost FPGA development boards are based on Efinix Trion T20 or Titanium Ti60 FPGAs, offering an easy way to get started with prototyping and development of a wide variety of embedded applications. Featuring onboard 100Mbit/s Ethernet and an ESP32-C3 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module, they are ideal for IoT applications. Raspberry Pi HATs and Digilent PMOD add-on boards are also supported.

AI-Enabled SoM & Carrier Card

Based around the Ti60F225 FPGA, Kuantek’s AI-enabled system-on-module and associated carrier card provide high-speed computing capabilities and flexible I/O for a variety of applications such as image and video processing and inference. Dual DF40 connectors offer 200 GPIO pins, and the carrier card enables easy debugging and programming via USB-FTDI with JTAG and UART interfaces.

CAN 2.0 / CAN FD IP Core

CAN 2.0 / CAN FD IP Core

Kuantek’s CAN/CAN FD IP core has been designed according to ISO 11898-1:2015 specifications and provides a multimaster serial bus that is highly suited to a wide range of applications such as test and measurement, sensor control, and vehicle networks. It supports flexible data rates of up to and greater than 1 Mb/s, and offers a range of features including user-configurable TX/RX buffers, message timestamping, and error logging.

Thermal ISP IP Core

Kuantek’s IP core for thermal vision cameras provides a range of advanced image enhancement features including bad pixel detection and elimination, denoising, two-point and scene based NUC, and color palettes for monochrome cameras.

Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC IP Core

The Tri-Mode Ethernet MAC IP core implements a Gigabit Ethernet MAC, enabling raw video data to be packaged as UDP packets and sent via GMII and GMII interfaces to a physical-side interface (PHY) chip. It can be configured via the AXI4-Lite protocol, and IP addresses, MAC addresses and ports can all be changed in real time.

JESD204B IP Core

The JESD204B IP Core implements JEDEC’s JESD204B standard for serial interfacing between data converters such as ADCs and DACs and logic devices such as FPGAs. Offering reduced interconnections, high data rates and low power consumption, it overcomes many of the limitations of other interfaces such as CMOS and LVDS.

Industrial IoT & Smart Energy Solutions

Smart Energy Management

Kuantek’s SEM (Smart Energy Management) IoT device provides 3-phase 2-channel or single-phase six-channel measurement of power and energy up to the 32nd harmonic. Offering GSM and Wi-Fi communication with MQTT protocol support, it can be easily controlled via a web-based user interface and features a DIN rail for convenient mounting.

Digital Input / Output

Kuantek’s DIO (Digital Input/Output) device provides 16 inputs and 8 outputs, as well as two Ethernet ports for communications and control. An embedded web server enables the unit to be easily configured from any browser.

Virtualized Gateway

Based around a 4-core ARM Cortex-A72 CPU with Embedded Linux, Kuantek’s Virtualized Gateway (V-GW) provides secure communications between disparate networks. The unit provides one Gigabit and two 100 Mbps Ethernet ports, as well as GSM wireless connectivity.
