Wolf Advanced Technology’s WOLF-3184-DAL-C XMC board has been integrated into Mercury Systems’ ROCK3 mission computer platform to support safety-certifiable video capture and processing for aerospace and defense applications.
The WOLF-3184-DAL-C is the company’s first DO-254 Design Assurance Level C certifiable board. The product provides video capture and processing capabilities for mission systems requiring certifiable embedded technologies in safety-critical environments.
Integrated within Mercury Systems’ ROCK3 platform, the WOLF-3184-DAL-C supports video input and output functionality for mission needs such as real-time situational awareness and advanced sensor integration. Designed to align with DO-254 processes, the board can integrate into system-level certification frameworks while helping reduce integration risk.
Mercury Systems’ ROCK3 is a safety-certifiable, SOSA-aligned 3U OpenVPX mission computer designed for military and advanced mobility aircraft. The platform supports applications including mission management, sensor fusion, surveillance, and avionics processing, while enabling mixed safety-domain workloads within a high-performance, certifiable architecture.
The integration demonstrates how WOLF’s safety-certifiable embedded technology can support next-generation mission computing architectures. By providing video capture and processing functionality within ROCK3, the WOLF-3184-DAL-C contributes to a modular, certifiable approach for safety-critical airborne systems.
