Greensea IQ has released Bayonet Insight, a post-processing software toolset designed to provide defense forces with faster access to critical mission data and intelligence products.
The software supports a wide range of maritime robotics platforms, including Bayonet Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicles (AUGVs), Mission Specialist Defender ROVs from VideoRay, RNAV diver navigation systems from STIDD Systems, and EverClean ship maintenance robots. Developed to address the delay between data collection and decision-making, the tool allows operators to process raw mission data immediately during or after a mission. Traditionally, generating intelligence products such as bathymetry maps and contact reports has required hours of processing across multiple tools, often delaying follow-on tasking.
Bayonet Insight functions as a standalone application that automatically organizes telemetry, sensor data, sonar, and video into a structured workspace. Operators can utilize interactive tools to inspect specific mission points, capture synchronized snapshots, and extract precise measurements. The system is capable of generating geo-referenced mission summaries and plots for any telemetry channel within the system, facilitating a more efficient workflow for distributed stakeholders.
Luis Mejia, Senior Solutions Manager at Greensea IQ, commented, “This tool was built in response to clear market demand from operators. Immediate data distributed to all stakeholders is critical to operational efficiency.
“This isn’t software built in isolation. It’s a direct result of listening to the people doing the work and understanding how critical speed and clarity are once a mission ends.”
One of the primary technical advantages of the toolset is the ability to export georeferenced bathymetric images and mission data directly as GeoTIFFs. This feature enables seamless integration with existing battlespace management platforms, such as TAK, as well as various GIS and reporting systems. The software also supports 2D and 3D bathymetric visualizations, providing a comprehensive view of the underwater environment.
Following successful demonstrations in live operational settings, the software is now available to customers with current EVERGREEN subscriptions. The release of Bayonet Insight marks a continued effort by Greensea IQ to pair advanced autonomous robotics with practical software solutions that prioritize speed and clarity for the end user.
