Greensea IQ is a leading developer of robotics for subsea use in naval, military and defense missions.

Greensea IQ delivers cutting-edge solutions in subsea robotics, specializing in advanced technologies for defense applications. Our comprehensive portfolio includes Bayonet Autonomous Underwater Ground Vehicles (AUGVs) for amphibious near-shore and surf zone operations, IQNS for precise navigation and support for AI/ML libraries, and RNAV3 for combat diver navigation and mobility. We enhance Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) missions with EOD Workspace, providing integrated situational awareness and remote vehicle management, while Safe C2 ensures secure, reliable over-the-horizon command and control. Greensea IQ, is committed to advancing mission success and safety through innovative, mission-ready systems designed for today’s defense challenges.

Amphibious tracked vehicle operations in harsh conditions

autonomous mobile robots

Bayonet AUGVs redefine operational capability for near-shore and surf zone environments, delivering rugged, autonomous platforms designed for the most challenging defense applications. These vehicles excel in roles such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Mine Countermeasures (MCM), and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). With their ability to transition seamlessly between land and water, Bayonet AUGVs provide a reliable solution for clearing UXO, surveying hazardous coastal zones, and supporting amphibious operations. Their autonomy reduces risk to personnel, allowing warfighters to focus on mission-critical objectives while the vehicles handle repetitive and dangerous tasks.

Bayonet AUGVs are designed to support application specific sensor packages such as EOD manipulators, charge delivery systems, or GPS RTK capabilities, Bayonet AUGVs deliver precise navigation and data collection, enabling real-time situational awareness in dynamic environments. Whether supporting SOF operations in the surf zone or facilitating INFIL/EXFIL missions, these platforms integrate seamlessly into modern defense strategies. By minimizing risk and maximizing operational efficiency, Bayonet AUGVs provide an indispensable tool for enhancing safety and mission success.

autonomous military robots

Bayonet naval and military crawlers provide access to subsea and littoral zones, as well as rivers and marshes, where other systems cannot reach or survive. Able to operate at depths down to 100 metres, all vehicles can be deployed in three different modes – fully autonomous, tethered, or via RF link buoy.

High-precision autonomous military robotics

Bayonet vehicles are built on OPENSEA, an open architecture robotics platform which features a robust suite of autonomy and navigation capabilities and allows payloads, sensors and other equipment to be easily swapped and upgraded at any time.

Bayonet AUGVs include Greensea IQ’s IQNS, an inertial navigation solution combined with an advanced edge processing platform from NVIDIA (see below). This provides accurate subsea navigation with processing power for onboard AI/ML processes such as ATR, Obstacle Avoidance, and Target Tracking.

Amphibious Reconnaissance

Maximum versatility for superior mission performance

All Bayonet AUGVs can be provided with a choice of interchangeable sensor suites with easy installation in the field for different missions, and we can also perform integration of other custom and third party sensors for you. Vehicles can also be equipped with a towable non-metallic sled that provides additional space for payloads as well as AUV delivery systems and extra power sources, with a low EM signature that makes it highly suitable for magnetometers and other sensitive devices.

Possible integrations include:

  • Side scan and multibeam sonar
  • Acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCP)
  • High-resolution cameras
  • Magnetometers
  • Acoustic transponders
  • Communications relay equipment
