RNAV is a state-of-the-art diver navigation platform developed by Greensea IQ in partnership with STIDD Military. Integrated with the STIDD Diver Propulsion Device (DPD), RNAV provides advanced navigation and control capabilities, allowing combat divers to hand off navigation and vehicle operation to the supervised autonomy of the DPD. This enhances safety and operational efficiency during critical missions. When equipped with OM2 (optionally manned mode), the DPD can execute fully unmanned transits to or from predetermined INFIL/EXFIL points, increasing tactical flexibility.
Missions can be pre-programmed or dynamically updated during operation. Control is managed via thumb sticks and finger triggers built into the DPD handgrips, ensuring divers never need to release the controls to operate the system, reroute navigation, or monitor mission progress and system status. An integrated acoustic communication system allows encrypted message exchange, team coordination, and waypoint sharing using both pre-set and custom messages, enabling real-time mission updates without surfacing or hand signals.
