DeltaQuad has entered into a strategic partnership, bringing on Dutch investment firms Parcom and Keen Venture Partners as strategic shareholders to strengthen its long-term position in the European security and defense industry.
The collaboration integrates DeltaQuad’s technological leadership with Parcom’s investment capacity, expertise and network, alongside Keen’s deep focus on the European defense-tech ecosystem.
Based in Duivendrecht, the Netherlands, DeltaQuad specializes in the development and manufacture of advanced long-range drones. These systems utilize a hybrid design that combines the efficiency of fixed-wing aircraft with Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) capabilities of helicopters, supporting mission-critical operations such as Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), border security, and force protection.
This new phase of growth will focus on operational excellence and international expansion. Key technical objectives include the further development of autonomy and payload integration. The company also intends to deepen its strategic partnerships across the defense sector and build organizational capabilities to ensure quality and service delivery at scale.
Sander Smeets, CEO of DeltaQuad, commented, “Parcom and Keen are strong partners for DeltaQuad as we enter our next phase. We operate in a space where the challenge is bigger than a single company, making collaboration across the defence ecosystem essential. With their support, we can accelerate innovation, strengthen international execution and continue building a leading European unmanned defence player, while our management team remains responsible for DeltaQuad’s day-to-day operations.”
The partnership highlights DeltaQuad’s goal of building a stronger, more resilient, and highly capable European unmanned defense sector by forming long-term collaborations across technology, investment, and operational expertise.
Norman Bremer, Partner at Parcom, stated, “DeltaQuad has developed a highly capable and mission-critical platform in a rapidly evolving defence and security landscape. We are impressed by the team’s deep technological expertise, entrepreneurial drive and strong customer traction. Following our investment in Robin Radar, this partnership marks a further step in our commitment to strengthening the Dutch and European security & defence industry. We look forward to working closely with the DeltaQuad team to scale the organisation, expand internationally and accelerate its next phase of growth.”
Alexander Ribbink, Partner at Keen Venture Partners, added, “DeltaQuad plays a critical role in the highly innovative European defence technology sector. Its products, technology and leadership are respected where it matters most. As investors dedicated to strengthening Europe’s defence and security capabilities, we are proud to partner with DeltaQuad and Parcom. Keen will actively support the company with its European defence-tech network of entrepreneurs, technologists, knowledge institutes and industry leaders. Together, we aim to reinforce Europe’s defence base and advance its strategic autonomy.”
