Boreas 50 Series

The Boreas 50 Series is a compact Fiber-Optic Gyroscope (FOG)-based Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS) engineered for military navigation, guidance, and control. It supplies continuous orientation, position, and true heading using north-seeking gyrocompassing that derives heading from Earth rotation and eliminates dependence on GNSS. The A50 variant integrates precision FOG sensors and accelerometers. The D50-X20P adds dual GNSS receivers for enhanced positioning and the D50-MX5 incorporates internal jamming and spoofing resilient GNSS for operations in contested electromagnetic environments. The product is ITAR free and rated to IP67 with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461 qualification pending.

Designed for deployment on unmanned and crewed platforms, Boreas 50 supports navigation in GNSS-denied or degraded scenarios and provides sensor outputs suitable for guidance loops and control systems. Typical defense uses include mission navigation, guidance, and equipment alignment. The system’s form factor and environmental protection make it suitable for vehicle integration, tactical robotics, and maritime unmanned systems such as ROVs and AUVs.
