POLAR-500
The POLAR-500 is a combined Air Data and Attitude Heading Reference System that also incorporates a dual GNSS compass, providing precise attitude and heading estimation capabilities under both static and dynamic conditions. The unit is highly resilient against individual sensor failures, ensuring the reliability needed for mission-critical UAV applications.
The POLAR-500 delivers azimuth and elevation angles through an ARINC 429 standard output. The system is partially compliant with ARINC 781, and is ideal for stabilization and pointing of UAV SATCOM-on-the-Move (SOTM) terminals.
The compact and low-power unit is packaged in a rugged aircraft-grade aluminium enclosure, and is easily integrated into a wide range of platforms.
