The LSM1000 is a rugged, Mil-Spec AN-10 threaded capacitive fuel and oil level sensor developed for defense-grade UAV and unmanned platform integration. Built to deliver accurate, continuous liquid level measurement in extreme operational conditions, it incorporates a PT-1000 (Class B 1/3 DIN) temperature sensing element within its carbon-fiber housing. The sensor’s solid-state capacitive design ensures stable readings even under shock, vibration, and changing orientations, eliminating mechanical wear and reducing sustainment requirements for field-deployed systems.
With IP68 ingress protection, MIL-STD-461G and RTCA DO-160F compliance, and a 2-bar differential pressure rating, the LSM1000 operates reliably from –40 °C to +125 °C (–55 °C to +150 °C variant available). Output options include analog 0–5 V, CAN, or combined analog/CAN configurations. Produced to custom lengths up to 450 mm, each sensor is fluid-calibrated for mission-specific fuels such as JP-8, AVGAS, and JET-A. Offering ±1% or ±0.5% reading accuracy, the LSM1000 enables defense UAV programs to maintain fuel visibility, enhance mission duration, and improve pre-flight readiness with minimal maintenance overhead.
