UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía is contributing to the TICHE Project, an initiative focused on developing advanced hidden-threat detection capabilities for complex environments using a collaborative, multiplatform approach.
The project combines advanced sensors, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, and unmanned aerial and ground systems to expand detection capabilities while prioritizing human safety, power efficiency, portability, and continuous operation.
The overarching goal of TICHE is to help protect and safeguard lives through technological innovation. By enabling collaboration between unmanned systems, the project aims to mitigate risks posed by landmines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), supporting safer operations in hazardous environments.
Within the project, UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía is responsible for enabling safe cross-domain operation between multiple unmanned platforms. The company will apply its expertise in guidance, navigation, and control to manage the flight of multiple Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) platforms operating as a coordinated swarm, while ensuring seamless integration and cooperative operation with Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs).
Through the integration of advanced sensors and intelligent data fusion algorithms, the TICHE solution is designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of hidden-threat detection in complex operational environments.
Funded by the European Commission through the European Defence Fund and led by RINA-CSM, the TICHE Project brings together industry partners, academic institutions, and government agencies to advance innovative technologies aimed at enhancing security and supporting lifesaving missions.
