ParaZero Technologies has signed a new reseller agreement with Romanian defense and homeland security integrator New Akord Security to commercialize and support its counter-drone solutions in the region.
The partnership focuses on the commercialization of the DefendAir system, a multi-layered soft-kill Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) platform. Utilizing patented net-launching technology, the system provides a non-kinetic method for intercepting hostile drones, prioritizing minimal collateral damage when protecting troops and critical urban infrastructure. This expansion strengthens the company’s presence among NATO member states, particularly those in proximity to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
As part of the initial phase of the agreement, New Akord Security has procured a demonstration kit featuring a Personal Net Launcher, Net Pod, and training package. The two companies intend to conduct live demonstrations for the Romanian Ministry of Defense and other government officials during the Black Sea Defense Aerospace and Security (BSDA) Exhibition in Bucharest, scheduled for May 13 to 15, 2026.
Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero, commented, “Rising tensions across Europe, coupled with the shift toward a multi-dimensional battlefield-where drones now play a central role-have made air defense increasingly complex and challenging. Our innovative solutions are specifically designed to address these pressing operational needs. This new reseller agreement reflects our commitment to strengthening partnerships that enhance airspace security for allied forces and critical assets.”
The DefendAir platform has previously achieved a 100% interception success rate during field trials. By integrating this technology, New Akord Security aims to provide training and local support for end users requiring a last-line solution against evolving aerial threats.
Valentin Dumitrache, CEO, added, “New Akord Security is honored to sign this new agreement with ParaZero Technologies. This agreement completes our sustained effort since 2021 to bring to the attention of the defense field a last-line solution against UAS and to contribute to better security and protection of lives and we look forward to this collaboration.”
ParaZero specializes in smart, autonomous solutions for both manned and unmanned aerial systems. This Romanian agreement follows a series of strategic moves in Europe, including recent distribution deals in Western Europe and live demonstrations conducted for senior NATO officers from multiple nations.
ParaZero will exhibit at BSDA as part of the Israeli National Pavilion in Hall A, Booth #A823
