ParaZero Technologies has secured its first purchase order from a major Israeli defense entity for the delivery of the company’s DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems.
The contract marks the first direct agreement with this specific entity for the DefendAir technology, which is designed to support procurement initiatives responding to the heightened drone threats observed in recent global conflicts.
As drones have become a primary risk to critical operations and ground forces, the deployment of specialized defense systems has become a priority for military organizations.
DefendAir is a multi-layered, soft-kill solution that utilizes patented net-launching technology to intercept hostile drones. This approach allows for the safe neutralization of targets with minimal collateral damage, making it suitable for use near troops, infrastructure, and within urban environments. The system has demonstrated a 100% interception success rate across multiple field trials.
“We are honored to receive this first order from a leading Israeli defense entity, a testament to the reliability and effectiveness of our DefendAir systems in real-world defense scenarios,” said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero. “Following the lessons of recent conflicts, where drones have emerged as a significant battlefield challenge, this procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities. We are proud to contribute to enhancing the protection of Israeli forces and look forward to supporting broader deployment of our technology.”
As an aerospace defense company, ParaZero specializes in smart, autonomous solutions for both the manned and unmanned aerial systems industries. This initial order includes the delivery of the hardware units alongside comprehensive integration and training support intended to ensure the systems reach rapid operational readiness.
