ParaZero Technologies Ltd. has received its first order from a U.S.-based Tier-1 defense corporation for its DefendAir Net Pods to support integration into advanced autonomous defense applications.
This achievement marks the company’s first order from this major defense organization and represents a significant step in expanding the global adoption of its non-explosive, net-based Counter-UAS interception technologies among leading military and defense contractors.
The DefendAir system serves as a kinetic yet non-explosive interception layer designed to target hostile attack drones. Optimized for integration into autonomous, unmanned, and alternative defense platforms, the DefendAir Net Pod enables physical drone interception in operational environments where precision is paramount and minimizing collateral risk is critical.
“This initial order marks an important milestone for ParaZero and a significant step forward in penetrating the world’s largest Counter-UAS market,” said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero. “As unmanned threats continue to evolve, we believe ParaZero’s autonomous net-based interception method will play an increasingly important role in layered Counter-UAS defense, particularly in environments where precision and reduced collateral risk are critical.”
As an aerospace defense company pioneering smart, autonomous solutions for the global manned and unmanned aerial systems industry, ParaZero designed the DefendAir product family to suit multiple operational modalities. The product line includes autonomous platform vehicle-mounted and airborne configurations, alongside man-operated portable applications intended for personal protection. The company’s patented net-launching technology provides a practical, physical interception mechanism capable of neutralizing hostile attack drones across a variety of tactical scenarios.
ParaZero intends to continue supporting integration efforts for DefendAir technologies across multiple defense applications and operational use cases.
