ParaZero has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of senior UAV and defense executive Ariel Alon as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

The company, developer of the DefendAir counter-UAS technology, claims this change will advance ParaZero’s safety systems for commercial unmanned aerial systems and counter UAS (C-UAS) protecting against hostile drones in urban and battlefield environments.
Alon’s diverse experience has prepared him well for this new CEO position, with a B.A. in business administration and an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Israel’s Ruppin Academic Center.
The new CEO has demonstrated success in leading, developing and managing high-performing local and global business teams in Israel, the U.S., EMEA, and APAC, across unmanned aircraft systems, finance, high-tech, defense, government ministries, and distribution sectors.
Alon has held senior business development and sales roles at defense, cybersecurity, and technology companies, such as Elbit Systems and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
From 2019-2020, Alon served as the Israeli country manager for Atos, a global IT service and consulting firm. He oversaw all Israeli operations and supported growth in global activities by leveraging innovative solutions developed locally.
Alon was also vice president of sales and general manager for Israel at the AI cybersecurity company, Voyager Labs from 2020-2023. He directed sales strategies, business development initiatives, marketing schemes, complex projects, and significant tenders.
Since 2023, Alon has worked as Aerodrome Group’s chief of sales, as well as the chief executive officer at Aerodrome LTD, its subsidiary. He directed company operations, transforming how organizations use drones and UAV data.
ParaZero extended its gratitude to the outgoing CEO, Boaz Shetzer, for his vision, leadership commitment and many company contributions.
