Kollmorgen will exhibit with the Regal Rexnord Aerospace & Defense team at the Space & Missile Defense Symposium (SMD) from August 11 to 13, 2026, in Huntsville, Alabama, highlighting motion solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
At Booth S3800, experts from Kollmorgen, Portescap, Thomson, Nook, Rexnord Aerospace, Formsprag Clutch, and Delevan will discuss co-engineered motion technologies for mission-critical systems. The collective showcase focuses on helping customers optimize complex designs, accelerate the transition from prototype to production, and reduce long-term program risk while meeting demanding performance, timeline, compliance, and reliability requirements.
Technical discussions will center on key engineering priorities such as SWaP optimization, reliability in extreme conditions, long-term program support, and supply chain resilience. Attendees can discuss a broad spectrum of aerospace and defense applications, including missiles and guided munitions, satellites, launch vehicles, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems, radar and SATCOM, ground vehicles, robotics, and naval systems.
Visitors will also be able to view a working Fin CAS demonstration at the booth and learn how Regal Rexnord technologies support demanding space and missile defense requirements.
