Ground Control has been selected as one of three qualified vendors for Den Norske Kriegsforsikring’s new DNK Tracking Programme, an initiative designed to safeguard commercial shipping against growing GNSS jamming and spoofing threats in high-risk maritime zones.
Replacing the previous Raptor scheme, DNK’s multi-vendor initiative gives member organisations the flexibility to select tracking solutions tailored to their specific operational requirements. The programme comes in response to escalating satellite navigation disruptions currently impacting commercial vessels navigating vulnerable areas, including the Red Sea and Persian Gulf.
To support the initiative, Ground Control is offering its RockFLEET Assured system, a compact, marine-grade tracker that integrates Iridium satellite positioning and timing (Iridium STL). Designed for straightforward adoption within existing bridge systems, the hardware uses standard NMEA protocols for simple integration. The system delivers independent, trusted position reporting when conventional GNSS signals are compromised, providing bridge integrity alerts, two-way satellite messaging, and full fleet visibility via the Cloudloop tracking platform.

Already operational on commercial vessels deployed in high-risk environments, RockFLEET Assured integrates directly with DNK’s War Risk Insurance framework to offer member organisations a practical, field-proven method for independent position verification.
