FlySight is presenting the latest advancements in its OPENSIGHT Mission Console this week at VERTICON 2026 in Atlanta.
The demonstrations, held at the Georgia World Congress Center through March 12, focus on the system’s ability to integrate diverse video sources and onboard sensor data into a unified mission environment. Designed specifically for avionics payload operators managing time-critical missions, the OPENSIGHT platform utilizes an Enhanced Reality environment to bolster situational awareness on tactical displays.
The system incorporates a high-performance, AI-enabled 3D rendering engine. This technology facilitates real-time vector overlays and augmented-reality visualization using both standard and user-defined datasets, allowing operators to maintain spatial awareness even in degraded visual environments. The platform also includes advanced moving-map capabilities, supporting raster and vector layers, real-time image-over-map projection, and field-of-view heatmaps.
To ensure compatibility with existing aircraft infrastructure, the console maintains strict alignment with avionics standards. Technical features such as MapCreator allow for rapid map generation, while real-time video processing modules provide image enhancement tools including dehazing, super-resolution, and georeferencing to improve data interpretability in difficult conditions.
FlySight specialists Giacomo Fontanelli, an Application Specialist, and Francesco Carli, a Software Developer, are available at the event to discuss these technical capabilities. Visitors can view the live integration of the OPENSIGHT Mission Console at Booth B9928.
