Textron Systems’ TSUNAMI® Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) combine decades of autonomous systems expertise with Brunswick Corporation’s commercial boat building capacity to deliver scalable maritime capabilities for U.S. and allied customers.
The platform is designed to support Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), search and rescue, counter narcotics and other maritime missions.
Built around rugged, U.S. manufactured Boston Whaler hulls and Mercury engines, the TSUNAMI family spans vessels from 21 to 42 feet, with engine kits also available for existing or custom hulls. Standard systems include electro optical/infrared (EO/IR) cameras, maritime radar and line of sight/beyond line of sight (LOS/BLOS) communications for persistent surveillance.
The collaboration combines Textron Systems’ more than six decades of autonomy integration experience with Brunswick’s established manufacturing, propulsion and global production capabilities, supporting rapid production and deployment at scale. Modular payload integration also allows TSUNAMI vessels to accommodate a range of sensors and weapon systems, with Textron Systems recently demonstrating a kinetic engagement against a designated surface target.
By combining commercial manufacturing capacity with modular autonomous technology, TSUNAMI provides a flexible maritime asset designed to expand persistent surveillance, improve maritime domain awareness and deliver mission ready capability at speed.
