Network Synchronization Technology & Assured PNT Solutions for Defense Systems & Mission-Critical Infrastructure
Oscilloquartz, a division of Adtran, is a pioneering developer of network synchronization technology and assured positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) solutions that secure defense systems and critical network infrastructure against GPS/GNSS vulnerabilities and cyberattacks.
Our aPNT+™ product portfolio enables the creation of assured PNT architectures that exceed the highest levels of resiliency set out in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Resilient PNT Conformance Framework and IEEE P1952 PNT standard. Built to provide military-grade security and protection, these cutting-edge solutions guarantee the secure delivery of PNT data for communications, navigation, weapons guidance systems and more.
The aPNT+™ portfolio is built on three interconnected elements: multi-layer detection, multi-source backup and multi-level fault-tolerant mitigation. Our state-of-the-art suite of solutions includes multi-band receivers that enable the early detection and mitigation of jamming and spoofing events, and also provides a range of failsafe options for ensuring the long-term availability of PNT services under GPS and GNSS-denied conditions.
Optical cesium atomic clock technology for GPS & GNSS alternatives
Oscilloquartz optical cesium atomic clocks provide precise timing that always remains operational even during extended GPS and GNSS outages. Delivering unmatched accuracy and stability, they maintain synchronization and operational effectiveness for military communications, navigation and electronic warfare, reinforcing defense readiness against a wide variety of modern-day threats.
Advanced grandmaster clock for assured network timing
The OSA 5422 advanced PTP grandmaster clock and NTP server can be seamlessly integrated into a wide variety of defense infrastructure. Offering high-end quartz and rubidium oscillator options, they efficiently distribute timing all the way from the network edge, ensuring that base station clocks and other time-critical applications precisely track their master.
Providing unparalleled performance as well as cost-effectiveness, the OSA 5422 delivers more functionality than any other solution on the market while ensuring precise frequency and phase synchronization and safeguarding mission-critical operations against ever-evolving electronic warfare threats. The OSA 5422 also supports STL and M-Code constellations, providing enhanced resilience against both GNSS jamming and spoofing attacks and space-weather-related disruptions.
OSA 5405 Series
Robust site synchronization to the network edge
The OSA 5405 Series provides compact, robust and resilient network synchronization via PTP and NTP, allowing defense infrastructure to efficiently migrate away from legacy GNSS RF antennas and coax cables in order to reduce vulnerabilities as well as operating costs.
The highly versatile product range features variants optimized for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. The OSA 5405-S incorporates Satellite Time and Location (STL) technology, utilizing encrypted Iridium LEO satellite signals to provide enhanced resilience against both GNSS jamming and spoofing attacks and space-weather-related disruptions.
OSA 5401 Series
Small form factor pluggable grandmaster clock & GNSS receiver
The OSA 5401 Series combines PTP grandmaster clock, NTP server and GNSS receiver functionality into a single highly efficient small form-factor pluggable (SFP) device with the most compact footprint on the market. Ideal for deployment in SWaP (size, weight and power)-restricted applications, it provides robust network synchronization without compromising on security or functionality.
The advanced solution supports both Layer 2 and Layer 3 PTP transport and is capable of unicasting and multicasting simultaneously. With cutting-edge design and network redundancy techniques, it also ensures resiliency against local GNSS jamming.
OSA 5400 SyncModule with STL
Embedded timing modules for easy integration
The OSA 5400 SyncModule provides embedded timing capabilities in a compact and easy-to-integrate M.2 form factor, making it ideal for upgrading the security and reliability of existing networks and infrastructure as well as for defense OEMs.
The OSA 5400 STL Module incorporates a Satellite Time and Location (STL) receiver utilizing the Iridium LEO satellite constellation. These modules provide precise timing with an accuracy of ±100 nanoseconds relative to UTC, making them highly suited to mission-critical operations in GNSS-denied environments.
OSA 3350 Series
Super-enhanced primary reference clocks for ultra-accurate timing
Our OSA 3350 super-enhanced primary reference clocks (SePRCs) utilize state-of-the-art optical pumping cesium technology to provide unprecedented levels of accuracy for mission-critical military and defense timing infrastructures such as communication networks.
The OSA 3350 SePRC delivers a guaranteed 45 days of holdover and typically achieves 55 days, while the SePRC+ maintains an impressive 100 days of 100-nanosecond precision and typically achieves 120.
