OSA 5401 SyncPlug
The OSA 5401 SyncPlug is a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) device that combines PTP grandmaster clock, NTP server and GNSS receiver functionality into a single highly efficient solution with the most compact footprint on the market. Ideal for deployment in SWaP (size, weight and power)-restricted applications, it provides robust network synchronization without compromising on security or functionality and consuming only minimal additional resources.
The advanced solution supports both Layer 2 and Layer 3 PTP transport and is capable of unicasting and multicasting simultaneously. The built-in GNSS receiver helps to mitigate the effects of ionospheric delay variation, and can also be used to detect and prevent jamming and spoofing attacks.
