NORBIT detection sonars are complemented by our GuardPoint Intruder Tracking Software, a powerful and intuitive program that operators can get to grips with quickly and easily even with minimal experience. It automatically detects and classifies a range of potential threats and intruders, while minimising false alarms for marine mammals and other organisms as well as vessel wakes.

GuardPoint Intruder Tracking Software is capable of tracking multiple targets simultaneously, features data recording and replay, and offers integration with third-party command and control systems as well as underwater loudhailers.

GuardPoint™ 70

Long-range open-water surveillance for fixed installations & vessels

GuardPoint™ 70 has been designed to provide 360-degree protection at long range in open-water environments. Able to detect challenging targets in the toughest of waters, it is ideal for fixed installations as well as vessel deployment.

Like all NORBIT intruder detection sonars, the GuardPoint™ 70 features 24/7/365 unattended operation capabilities, and allows multiple units to be networked together for enhanced coverage. It is ideal for naval bases and fleets, oil and LNG terminals, offshore rigs and more.

GuardPoint™ 100

Medium-range surveillance for complex environments

GuardPoint™ 100 has been engineered to undertake the most complex surveillance tasks, featuring advanced STX (steering transmit) technology that utilizes a focused beam that can be electronically adjusted to adapt to different propagation conditions. This ensures maximal detection probability in shallow waters.

NORTrace

Advanced sonar performance prediction software

NORTrace is a powerful software tool that allows users to estimate sonar performance under dynamic acoustical, oceanographic and meteorological conditions. Suitable for use with any sonar with a frequency between 1 kHz and 1 MHz, it enables the fine-tuning of a wide range of parameters including frequency, bandwidth, pulse type and length, beamwidth, depth and much more.

The software provides a variety of graphical outputs, and can be easily integrated into tactical information displays.
