Our cutting-edge solutions are designed to be U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)-compliant, and are currently undergoing assessment for certification.

In addition to our off-the-shelf offerings, we also provide custom EFI technology integration, and can seamlessly integrate our engine control units with many leading drone flight control systems, allowing comprehensive engine and system telemetry data to be delivered to the autopilot.

UAV Propulsion Systems

Electronic fuel injection engines and generators for military UAVs

Our range of UAV engines and generators features cutting-edge Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology, providing a significant advantage over traditional carburetted designs and delivering longer flight times, reduced running costs, and lower emissions.

With capacities ranging from 35cc to 215cc, they can be precisely tuned for the ideal fuel-to-air mapping, automatically adjusting for altitude. This makes them ideal for the hard-wearing and dynamic requirements of military operations, and also results in up to 65% improvement in fuel efficiency.

All engines can be optionally equipped with generators and alternator starter systems, enabling recharging of onboard batteries and powering of onboard avionics and subsystems, as well as remote starting.

iHE7 Hybrid Generator

The iHE7 is an innovative hybrid-electric generator system based around our DA70 twin-cylinder 2-stroke EFI engine. Used to power Innoflight International’s ScanLift Orbit heavy-lift UAS platform, it equips military UAV platforms with the extended ranges and flight times required for advanced missions such as ISR, logistics and communications relay.
