Greene Tweed’s thermoplastic composite solutions combine a polymer matrix with reinforcing fibers, delivering high strength with exceptional strength-to-weight ratios. They are ideal for replacing complex-shape metallic components in manned and unmanned aircraft and ground vehicles, improving longevity and fatigue resistance while reducing weight by up to 50%.

Xycomp^® DLF™ (discontinuous long fiber) is a carbon fiber-reinforced composite that offers outstanding vibration and impact resistance while reducing emissions and fuel burn thanks to significant weight savings. The molding process offers a high degree of material control, enabling the production of 3D components with reduced parts counts, variable wall thickness and molded-in features.

Xycomp DLF is resistant to all common aerospace fluids and meets FAA/EASA Burn Test and FST requirements. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including:
