Xycomp® DLF™

Xycomp DLF is a carbon fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite that has been designed for replacement of complex-shape metallic components in aerospace and defense platforms.

Featuring outstanding fatigue, vibration and impact resistance on par with or better than metal, its use reduces emissions and fuel burn thanks to significant weight savings of up to 50%. The molding process offers a high degree of material control, enabling the production of 3D components with reduced parts counts, variable wall thickness and molded-in features.

Xycomp DLF is resistant to all common aerospace fluids and meets FAA/EASA Burn Test and FST requirements, and is also fully recyclable. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, including:
