Ethernet Stream Multiplexer
The Ethernet Stream Multiplexer combines six independent Layer 3 Ethernet switches with an internal stream multiplexer, providing a robust solution for high-volume data management between sensors, processors and communications equipment. UDP traffic from 15 Gigabit Ethernet connections can be consolidated for distribution across air, land and maritime defense platforms.
A 64-bit Cortex-A53 application processor is paired with a 32-bit Cortex-R5 real-time processor and ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing. The unit also provides RS-422, RS-485, MIL-STD-1553B and ARINC 429 connectivity, with onboard memory and H.264/H.265 video coding resources for embedded networking and video-handling applications.
