Elbit Systems UK subsidiary, Instro, has secured a contract uplift to supply additional XACT nv33 compact Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) to the British Armed Forces.

The compact XACT nv33 NVGs are helmet-mounted and provide reduced size and weight, extended battery life, and enhanced image quality. This provides operators with better threat detection and situational awareness in low-light and no-light conditions.

NVGs are essential for well-equipped troops, ensuring the UK Armed Forces maintain operational effectiveness. The XACT nv33 supports British Armed Forces personnel in effectively operating in low and no-light situations, giving UK troops the operational advantage.

Martin Fausset, CEO of Elbit Systems UK, commented, “Our success in supplying NVGs to the UK Armed Forces is a direct result of the investment we have made here in the UK. We are committed to providing our troops with the most advanced equipment to ensure they have operational advantage.”

The British Armed Forces will receive the systems in a phased rollout as part of the £16 million contract. The success of Elbit Systems UK’s investment in the Electro-Optic Centre of Excellence in Kent is evident, as Instro has already supplied over 3,500 NVGs to the UK Armed Forces.
