Accelerate Defense Modernization through Strategic Sourcing
Discover cutting-edge solutions from leading global suppliersVideosoft Global has integrated its ultra-low-bandwidth video streaming technology into Glenair’s Next Generation STAR-PAN hubs, installed on the MRZR as a mobile Tactical Operations Centre (TOC).
The integration combines Videosoft’s adaptive streaming capability with Glenair’s power management, multi-bearer connectivity, onboard processing, and harsh-environment certification. Using Glenair’s built-in Mission Manager, Videosoft’s technology runs natively on the device to support real-time video sharing between users, sensors, and communications systems.
STAR-PAN provides the underlying power, data distribution, and network management needed to connect multiple systems on a platform. Its architecture enables traffic to be bridged, routed, and segregated across different networks, supporting rapid system integration in fast-moving operational environments.
Videosoft’s streaming technology builds on this architecture by adapting video for bandwidth-constrained communications. It is designed to maintain access to real-time video across SATCOM, mesh, microwave, tactical radio, and other constrained links while reducing the amount of data required for transmission.
The combined capability is intended to maintain situational awareness across Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Limited (DDIL) environments. Glenair provides the mission-hardened mobile interconnect, while Videosoft supplies the real-time video capability designed to keep operators, commanders, and sensors connected to the operational picture across the battlespace.
