Northrop Grumman LITEF is presenting its latest advancements in robust navigation technology for modern military land operations at the Singapore Airshow 2026.
The company is utilizing the international event to highlight the LITEF Land Navigator (LLN) product line, a series of systems designed to maintain precise positioning even during spoofing or jamming attacks. Attendees can visit the BDLI German Pavilion, stand C-M78, to view the LLN-GY, LLN-G2, and LLN-GZ systems, which emphasize modularity and resistance to electronic threats without unnecessary over-engineering.
The new product line is built on three distinct technological pillars to suit various military scenarios. The LLN-G2 is a FOG-based system tailored for very high Pointing, Navigation & Timing (PNT) performance, while the LLN-GZ utilizes MEMS technology for a compact, tamper-proof design compatible with NGVA standards. The LLN-GY provides a cost-effective dead reckoning solution using optimized sensors.
Kai Dlouhy, Director Defence at NG LITEF, commented, “In times of increasing electronic threats, you need navigation that you can rely on even under the most difficult conditions. Our LLN systems have been developed precisely for this purpose – cost-efficient, battle-tested, and future-proof.”
These German-engineered systems share mechanical and electrical interfaces to allow for flexible integration across different platforms. The LLN-GZ model is specifically designed to work with the newest equipment, such as ERGR2M receivers and CRPA antennas, ensuring maximum resilience under NAVWAR conditions. The technology is entirely ITAR-free, benefitting from high vertical integration and in-house chip production.
With 35 years of experience in inertial navigation, Northrop Grumman LITEF’s presence at the airshow underscores its commitment to delivering software-defined defense solutions that meet actual operational requirements. The exhibit demonstrates how the company’s “Made in Germany” navigation systems provide a reliable, long-term future for mission-critical land assets.
