Batlskin Hellbender TE Helmet
Building on the success of Galvion’s PDxT™ platform, the Hellbender TE offers enhanced protection and versatility. This hybrid design combines Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) in a lightweight ballistic shell. Available in hi-cut and a distinctive mid/full cut, it strikes the perfect balance between superior coverage and seamless integration of communication equipment.
The helmet incorporates Galvion’s geometry, featuring an ACH-style front, smooth ear transitions, and a ridged rear for added impact protection and structural strength.
Fully modular and compatible with the premium APEX™ liner system, the Hellbender TE is adaptable for both military and law enforcement roles. It will be available for purchase starting mid-2025.
Batlskin Caiman® SAR Helmet
Expanding the flagship Caiman lineup, the new Caiman SAR helmet is specifically engineered for search and rescue operations. Designed with ultra-light, high-impact polymer, it ensures maximum comfort and stability. Its advanced APEX™ liner system and a newly designed 3-hole shroud deliver superior performance.
Todd Stirtzinger, CEO at Galvion, said, “We are excited to unveil these new head systems to our First Responder network of users. We have over 100,000 of our PDxT head systems in use globally, and each program fielded brings new feedback, customizations and insights that result in a better product for end-users. The time was right to add this thoughtfully designed platform to our commercial range, and we expect to expand the Batlskin Hellbender suite of products over the coming years to serve a variety of operator needs.”
He added, “The development of the Caiman SAR stems directly from operator feedback and introduces our new Galvion 3-hole shroud to the market. The global adoption of the Caiman platform is spreading, and the SAR helmet offers a new range of specialist operators the opportunity to experience the unrivalled comfort and performance of this mission-proven platform.”
